Following an assessment of your situation, personality strengths, and developmental history (which may incorporate objective psychometric measures) we will discuss with you a plan of intervention that includes frequency of visits, use of homework, and types of interventions.
We currently conduct psychological assessments for WSIB clients as well as those who are dealing with the aftereffects of motor vehicle accidents.
Dr. Hugo Stevenson’s work with couples focuses on helping partners solve distressing situations and conflicts, understanding and modifying maladaptive patterns of communication, and learning the types of behaviours that can make a relationship blossom.
Dr. Stevenson has a wealth of clinical experience in helping clients recover from traumatic experience, both those who suffer from PTSD and those whose normal functioning has been impacted in a significant way.
Our clinical interventions in this area are informed by attachment research, personality styles, non-verbal communication, transactional analysis, social learning, and psychoanalytic theories.
